This year I entered the inaugural photography competition run by the Wild Island Gallery in Hobart, called the ‘Tasmanian Landscape and Nature Awards’. This completion seeks out the best landscape and Nature images in Tasmania across several categories including animals, plants and landscapes. I’m really pleased to say that I placed first and third in the ‘Wild Landscape’ category.
It is an absolute honour to have my prints hanging in the Wild Island Gallery. Many thanks to Rob Blakers, Loic Le Gully and Simon Olding for running such an awesome competition. Particular thanks must go to Simon Olding for doing such an exceptional job printing my entries. If you’re in Hobart between now and the 1st of June 2016 check out the exhibition, it’s amazing!
