I’m really honoured to be a judge for the 2017 Australian Geographic ANZANG Nature Photographer of the Year competition. The competition is an annual celebration of the best nature photography from the ANZANG bioregion (Australia, New Zealand, Antarctica and New Guinea). The competition is open for entries from now until Friday 24 February, don’t miss out.
Note that the rules for the competition have changed from previous years. I’d encourage photographers that haven’t entered before to read them as they may find it easier to enter than it was before.
Three of my images were finalists in the competition last year, and one was a finalist in 2015. The image above entitled “First Light at Lake Oberon” was a finalist in the landscape category last year.
