I had an amazing opportunity last night of being the guest speaker at the 5th Annual Focus Photography Awards. It was a privilege to be able to discuss my photography journey with an audience of 150 people which included Ken Duncan and many more very talented photographers including the legends from the Light Collective! Thanks to John Armytage and the Focus Committee for the opportunity and Adam Williams for the Q&A at the end of the talk. For those that were there I really hope my talk connected with you in some way!
I visited the the Focus website this morning and was really excited to see that my shot “Crescent Moon over Mount Banks” came 11th in the Open category. With so many excellent photographers entering this year it was great to be in the mix.
Well done to the Focus Awards Sub Committee for organising a wonderful event that gets better and better each year. Thank you to Phat Ngo for the images of me speaking on the night.
